Safana just sent me this picture of her wearing her custom white birthday dress. It’s made in a silky jersey, with a gold necklace bar. I think she looks so gorgeous!

To kick off my blog posts for this party season, I am starting with one very close to my heart. I had the honor of doing the engagement photo shoot for my very dear friends Angela and Michael- and also making the custom dresses for Angela.
Angela and I grew up together on the Sunshine Coast, and I have been lucky to have her as a bestie all this time. I just love Angela to pieces, and also adore her fiance, Michael.
We took the photos on a hot April afternoon at Queen Elizabeth Park, as well as another one near PNE/ Playland, using the spectacular cherry blossoms as a dreamy, romantic background.
Spending time with Angela and Mike made me think about how perfect they are together. They both sparkle with pure happiness, as well as a shared joy for life that makes everyone around them feel like dancing and laughing.
I think the photos radiant with their personality and love for each other. It was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon! Thank you, Ang and Mike for letting me be a part of such a special day.

I think Jasmine looks so glamorous in her custom red chiffon gown, which she wore to her friend’s wedding. Love!
I’m super busy right now finishing dresses for prom, bridal and parties. Girls are starting to take finished dresses home, and I couldn’t be happier with how they are looking. I can’t wait to post pictures in the coming months!

It’s a gorgeous warm spring day here in Van, and I’m so excited to be off to the coast to celebrate Easter with friends and family. It will be a relaxing and stylish weekend for sure!

There are days that are meant purely for
dreaming of summer,
fields of sunflowers
and twirling and dancing
in beautiful dresses.
It’s not every day that I get to dance around in an enchanted field of sunflower with my sister and sister-in-law, wearing dreamy dresses and bohemian head pieces I made- but that’s exactly what we did for this creative photo shoot, photographed so beautifully by my sister Sarah, of Sevenish Photography. These photos take me right back into the hazy, sun drenched, magical summer evening.

It’s always a fabulous time to create a custom dress for a client, and especially so when we’re already friends. This was the case with Jasmine. I made a custom sequin dress for her, which she wore for her birthday celebrations. Such a girly fun time!
