Custom Designed Dream Dresses
I am so thrilled to be working on Hilda’s destination wedding dress! Hilda and I go way back to high school on the coast, and we reconnected while working at Holt’s. She has amazing style, and is a beautiful artist. I’m so happy for her and her future.
We found the perfect fabric…and we just fit the dress muslin. Now we’re good to go with the actual dress! Yeah!
I totally have weddings on my mind, more than usual due to Kate and Willy’s royal wedding this Friday! I’ve made a couple short wedding dresses, as well as a white flower girl dress. Here they are modeled by my fabulous sisters, Ruth and Marianne, as well as my little girl Veronica. We were at the Engagement rings at Sunset Beach in Vancouver. The sculpture was created by US artist Dennis Oppenheim, who sadly just passed away this January.
